Town of Davis received a $800,000 Community Development Block Grant for their Water System Improvement Project.

This $2.34 million project will replace the existing water system serving the town, which is antiquated and plagued by frequent line breaks. The project will also include the rehabilitation of a water impoundment and water treatment plant updates to serve more than 430 residential households and businesses.

Small Cities Block Grant funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Community Advancement and Development a Division of the West Virginia Development Office manages the administration of these funds.
